EQUINE ASSISTED SOLUTIONS™
PROGRAMME
Individual, couple, family
and group experiences for all
who wish to connect with horses to promote
self-discovery, growth and learning
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)
We offer Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) for individuals, couples, families and groups. Young people and
adults. Clients can come on a private basis or referrals can be made
by agencies and organisations including Social Work, Education, Mental Health,
Primary Care (GPs etc.) and the Justice Support Services.
Sessions address a wide range of well being, mental health and development needs including
behavioural issues, school attendance, attention deficit disorder,
substance abuse, eating disorders, abuse issues, depression, anxiety, anger
management, relationship problems, and communication needs.
Individual sessions (1½ hour) are usually on
a weekly or two weekly basis. We can also include a
number of sessions as part of an intensive retreat experience over several days
by special arrangement. |

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)
We offer Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) to
individuals and groups with a particular focus on working with the adolescents
referred from Social Work, Education and the Justice Support Services. Sessions
and workshops can be tailored to address the specific needs of an individual or
group based on a life skills learning model.Sessions address a
wide range of educational needs including
confidence building, creative problem solving, relating to others, communication
skills and and learning-to-learn.
Individual sessions (1½ hour),
half, one and multi-day experiences for individuals and groups. |
EAL

Equine Assisted Professional Development (EAPD)
and Corporate Training
We offer Equine Assisted Professional Development (EAPD) for individuals, groups, businesses and organisations
looking for staff training opportunities and business development. Workshops can
be tailored to address the specific professional development needs of of the group,
business or organisation.Work with the horses address a wide range of business
and organisational needs
including team building, leadership, communication skills, goal setting,
life-work balance, crisis
management and handling conflict.
One and multi-day experiences are arranged for
individuals and groups. |
EAPD

Retreats
Multi day retreats are residential and run at the Winds of
Change near Inverness, Scotland. Retreat group size is kept
small ( six or less usually) to create an intimate atmosphere and
opportunities for focusing on each individual's own choice of theme
for the retreat. As well as therapeutic sessions with horses, other
experiential self-exploration opportunities are
offered. Accommodation and meals in the Butt & Ben annexe at the
Winds of Change Centre is included.Two day
retreats are run at weekends (Friday evening to Sunday afternoon)
and three day retreats are run during the week (Monday evening to
Thursday afternoon). |
